  She grins. “That’s sweet.”

I’m smiling so hard my cheeks hurt. “I can’t wait to see where he’s taking me for Valentine’s Day.” I bite my lip. It’s been on my mind, and no matter how much I beg him for a hint, he won’t tell me.

She bites the tip of her fake nail. “I bet he plans something really romantic for you.”

I shrug. “Time will tell. He’s picking me up shortly, so I have to finish getting ready.” I turn back to the mirror to finish applying my make-up. I pin my hair back into a cute ponytail with curls. It gets hot in the club, and Bentley drives a convertible and likes to keep the top down. I love how his long, lean body folds into the car. It’s the perfect ride for him. Just thinking about it wakes my lady bits.

“What are you thinking about?” Katia asks, sipping her glass of wine.

I laugh. “How sexy Bentley looks in his convertible Mustang.”

She shakes her head. “I really need to find myself a man. Of course, it would help if I had a body like yours.” Katia is a beautiful woman, but she doesn’t have the slim dancer’s body that I have, and so she thinks she’s not attractive. She also lacks confidence, which you’d never know from the way she comes to the defense of her friends, but she’s a true introvert.

“Katia, you’re a beautiful woman. You have a gorgeous smile, beautiful brown eyes, and breasts most women would kill for.” She is definitely full-figured in that department, where I have tiny breasts. They suit me, seeing as I'm a dancer, but still. “You just need to find the man that’s right for you. I’m an extrovert, and you’re an introvert. You need to find someone who enjoys snuggling on the couch watching a movie.” I finish applying my mascara and cap it. “He’s out there. You just need to have faith and patience.”

“Yeah, well, BOB’s batteries just died again, so it would be nice if Prince Charming would make his grand entrance.” She sips the last of her wine.

I toss my head back, laughing hysterically. “He’s out there, trust me.”

She rolls her eyes and exits the bathroom with me following behind her. I’m grabbing my shoes when the doorbell rings.

“I got it.” She calls out, hitting the button to let Bentley in while I slip my shoes on. A few minutes later there’s a knock at the door.

“Hi Bentley,” I hear Katia greet him.

I expel a deep breath and walk out into the dining room, where Bentley and Katia are talking, his eyes lighting up when he sees me.

“Jade, you look stunning.” He holds his hand out, pulling me close the second my hand is in his.

“You don’t look so bad yourself.” I can’t help but smile. He not only looks amazing, but his cologne always gets my lady bits all a fluster.

“What is that perfume you’re wearing?” He nuzzles my neck.

Great minds think alike. “Very Sexy,” I say with an evil grin.

He clears his throat, realizing Katia is still standing there, watching our interaction. “Very fitting title. Are you ready?”

“Yeah, let’s go.” I wink at him.

“Good night, Katia.” He nods, opening the door for me.

I wave as she stands there, shaking her head at us. I feel bad for her. I always invite her to come out with us, but she always tells me the same thing. Dancing in a club is not her thing, it’s mine, which is true, but she never goes anywhere.

“What’s up with Katia?” Even Bentley picked up on the fact that she isn’t herself. He opens the car door for me.

I slip inside and wait for him to climb in on the other side. “She’s a little bummed that she hasn’t found herself a man.” He starts the car. “She goes through these bouts of being down, but it’s hard for her to meet anyone when she doesn’t go out.”

“You should invite her to join us.” He says as if I haven’t tried that.

I look at him as if he’s crazy. “You think I haven’t tried.” He shrugs and pulls out of the parking lot. “She’s an introvert. She wants no part of this.” I shake my head. “I need to find her a man that likes staying in and doing things at home.”

A full-on megawatt smile takes over his handsome face. “I may know someone, babe.” I smile at his use of a pet name for me.

  “You do?” I ask excitedly.

When he stops at a red light, he glances over at me. “My assistant at work. His name is Collin. He's a single and timid guy, but really nice. Maybe we can get them to go out on a double date?”

“Oh, that would be amazing. Will you talk to him and I’ll talk to her? Maybe we can order some takeout and hang at my place.” I’m really excited. Katia has been really good to me. I would love to hook her up as a thank you.

He nods. “Sure. I think that’s a great idea.”

“You are the best. Thank you so much.” I clap, excited that we came up with a plan.

He pulls into the valet lane to the club. “I’ll make plans to pick him up, and you work it out with your girl to plan the takeout and a movie for us to watch.”

“Don’t pick him up, then you can’t spend the night.” I bite my lip. I feel my cheeks heat because I can’t believe I blurted that out so quickly.

He gets out of the car and opens the door for me. “I like the way you think.” He wiggles his brows and takes my hand. We hurry to the entrance to get out of the humid evening air.

When we get inside, Hotline Bling by Drake is playing. They’re playing some throwbacks tonight, but I don’t care. I love almost all music. I pull Bentley straight to the dance floor. His hands go straight to my hips and then slowly dip over my ass, pressing me against him as we grind together on the dance floor. They roll right into Havana by Camila Cabello. This song has the beat that Micah is looking for, but he still doesn’t think it’s the right song. It’s one of my favorite songs. I think it’s so sexy. Bentley grabs my hand and starts spinning me around on the dance floor.

I catch a glimpse of Ky and Breigh next to us. Everyone spreads out as the four of us dance in a similar style, taking a good portion of the dance floor. Phones are out recording us as we spin and move all around the floor in a professional manner. Bentley picks me up over his shoulder, spins me, and places me back down with so much grace. It’s as if we’ve practiced the move for month – the crowd cheers. When the song ends, Bentley and Ky hold up our hands. We both take a small bow and leave the dance floor.

Breigh wraps me in a hug. “Girl, that was lit.”

“Damn straight it was. Now let's grab a drink.” I fan myself with my hand.

“For sure.” She agrees, and we all climb the stairs to our VIP section.

When we get there, it’s crowded. Missy, BJ, Aaron, Micah, Julie, Destiny are all there with a few other dancers, and the four of us join in. Missy jumps up. “Girl, that was hot.” She hugs me. “We were watching from up here. You dance like that at the competition, and I’m telling you, you two have it in the bag.” She is grinning ear to ear.

“We’ll see. We still haven’t fully decided what we’re dancing too yet.”

“Why not Havana?” Breigh asks. “That was amazing.”

“I’m starting to think I need to make them a compilation of all the songs they’ve been dancing to at the studio. Blend them all together,” Micah says.

My eyes go wide. “That’s an awesome idea.”

He rolls his eyes. “I was joking.”

“I’m not.” I shake my head. “I think it will be brilliant. We can go from sexy to romantic. It would be so much fun.

He shakes his head. “We’ll discuss it. It depends on the songs you want.”

“What do you have in mind?” Ky asks.

I shake my head. “I’m not sharing yet. I think Bentley and I need to discuss that first.” I take his hand and place it on my lap.

“Fine, if you’re not going to talk, then let’s dance.” Missy jumps up from her seat.

“We just got up here. Let me order a drink.”

The waitress comes in. Bentley orders me a Long Island Iced Tea and him a ginger
ale. I’ve noticed the last two times we were here he didn’t drink. I never paid attention before that. “You’re not going to have a drink?” I ask curiously.

He shakes his head. “I never drink if I’m driving,” he explains.

“Maybe I should drive next time so you can enjoy a drink.”

He smiles. “That’s sweet, babe, but I’m fine.” He leans in and kisses me on the temple. This is what I’m talking about. This man is so sweet and considerate. He is always thinking of me and wanting to do for me. He makes me feel so special.

After I’ve had a few sips of my drink, our entire crew heads down to the dance floor. We take a lot of space, but we don’t care. We’re having fun, and all matched up dancing to Strip That Down by Liam Payne and Quavo. Another amazing song.

I notice that people are starting to give Bentley and I space once more, but this time when he extends my arm spinning me away from him, I get a glimpse of Brittany standing with her hands planted on her hips and a look of disgust on her face. It makes me laugh because Jackson is standing beside her. The guy who was over the dance scene is watching me dance with Bentley.

Bentley pulls me close and starts grinding his hips with mine. When I turn again, his jaw is practically on the floor. Serves you right, asshole.

Brittany grabs Jackson’s hand and pulls him onto the dance floor. They start competing with us for space, but it doesn’t last long. Brittany bumps into someone and nearly falls over. The crowd laughs as she storms off the floor.

When the song changes, Bentley leans in and gives me a chaste kiss. People start clapping and cheering, joining us on the dance floor once again.

All of a sudden, I’m tapped on the shoulder. When I turn, Brittany tosses her drink at me, soaking my neck and chest. Jackson's eyes go wide. “What the fuck is your problem?” I wipe the sticky alcohol from my body.

“You. I’m tired of you taking the light. We came here to be seen, and once again, you take over.” She gets up in my face.

“Are you shitting me? You jealous bitch. The man you’re dating wanted nothing more to do with this scene, and now you’re here trying to get in the light?” Our crew gathers around us, ready to deal with whatever is about to go down. I shake my head. “The tobble you almost took, I’m sure will get you some serious Instagram likes.”

“Fuck you.” She barks out angrily.

Bentley puts his arm around me. “Babe, let’s just go.”

“Yeah, go. We all know who the better dancer is.” She takes Jackson’s hand and pulls him back into the center of the dance floor as Bentley pulls me toward our VIP section.

“Yeah, you’re so good you almost face planted.” I call back over my shoulder, not caring if she heard me or not.

“Let’s get a drink, and then we’ll head out.” As we’re making our way up the stairs, I see Jackson and Brittany being escorted out. “I can’t believe she did that.”

“Wait till Jackson realizes the only reason she wanted him was to get into the limelight.” He takes a seat on the loveseat and hands me some napkins.

“Sucks to be him.” I plop down next to him and order myself a Long Island Iced Tea.

He bumps me. “Come on, that’s funny.”

I grin, “They deserve each other.” I growl, shaking my head.

“Yeah, they do.” He places his finger under my chin, forcing me to look him in the eye. His lips connect with mine, and our tongues collide. He slips his finger up my jaw to the nape of my neck and deepens the kiss.

“Let’s get out of here.” I pant as he peppers a few kisses up my jaw.

“We just ordered drinks.” He says with a smile.

“You really want to stay here and drink versus taking me back to your place?”

He pulls away. “You’re staying at my place?” He sounds shocked.

I nod. “And you don’t have to sleep on the couch.” I laugh.

He laughs, tossing his head back. “Thank God.”

The waitress comes back with our drinks, and as I’m taking a few sips, he pays the bill. Once he’s done, he takes my hand and pulls me back down the stairs. We stop to let our friends know we’re leaving.

“Brittany and Jackson were kicked out,” Ky yells to us, trying to convince us to stay.

“We know, but I’m all sticky, and I want to get out of these wet clothes.”

“I bet you do.” He wiggles his eyes at me.

I grin and shake my head. “You are such a man.”

Ky bursts into laughter. “Thank you.”

“See you guys later,” Bentley calls out, ignoring him and leading me to the door.

He hands off his valet ticket, and we both anxiously wait for them to pull the car around. I have chills from the breeze and my wet clothes. Bentley wraps his arm around me to keep me warm. When the car pulls up, he opens the door for me and then climbs in, putting the top up before we take off.

He squeals his tires, pulling out of the parking lot, causing me to laugh. “Are you in a rush to get home?”

“I need to get you out of those wet sticky clothes.” He says as if that’s his only concern.

  “I may need a shower.”

“I think I can help you with that.” He says, blowing through a light as it’s about to turn red. He downshifts, takes an on-ramp, and slams on the gas, shifting gears once again.

“You’re really good with a stick.” I run my hand over his.

“Baby, you have no idea.” He slips the car into sixth gear and speeds up the highway. He’s so focused, maneuvering the car with precision down the freeway. It’s sexy to see him handle his car with such control. He downshifts and takes the exit for his apartment complex.

“Actually, I do.” This man is magic with his lips, fingers, and yes, his stick too.

He expels a deep breath as he pushes the button for the gate to his community to open. He slowly pulls into his designated spot by his building and climbs out of the car to open the door for me.

I’ve barely had two drinks, but I’m drunk with sexual tension—all I want is his hands on my body. He opens the door to his apartment and ushers me in, but as soon as he closes the door, I pin him to it. He stares into my eyes. I press my lips to his, and our tongues collide in an intense battle for control. He peppers more kisses up my jaw. “Shower.” He demands, nuzzling my ear and neck.

  “Mmm,” I moan.

He scoops me up and carries me to his bathroom, placing me down on the counter. He toes off his shoes and peels my shirt off, tossing it to the floor. “When we finish, I’ll throw those in the wash for you.” He licks at the sticky alcohol lining my body.

He presses his lips to mine in a soft, gentle kiss. He rubs his nose on mine, and then peppers, even more, kisses up my jaw and down my neck to my collarbone. His hand glides up to my breast, massaging it as he nibbles on my ear. “Bentley, don’t tease me.” I pant.

“I’m not rushing this.” He picks me up off the counter and pulls the clip from my hair, so it falls in loose waves down my back. He gathers it into a ponytail and tugs it gently, angling my head as he nibbles and kisses at my neck. “This perfume is driving me crazy.” His other hand works the button on my pants.

“Feel free to lose control.” I giggle as he kisses down my body. He lowers my pants down my legs.

He licks in between my breasts. “You taste like alcohol.”

He continues sucking and teasing my nipples. “Baby…” my words trail. “Shower.” I pant.

“Sorry, but you said I could lose control.” He laughs, turning on the shower. While it heats up, he strips his clothes and grabs us some towels from the hall closet. Mushu tries to join us in the bathroom, but he’s not hearing it. “Yeah, I don’t think so, buddy.” He picks him up and tosses him in the hallway, closing the door so he can’t get back in.

We both climb into the shower. The warm water feels so good. I tip my head back, wetting my hair. He grabs the bottle of shampoo. “What are you doing?”

  “Washing your hair.”
He explains. “And when I’m done with that, I plan to wash and explore every inch of this beautiful body.” He begins massaging my scalp. It feels so good, but I’d rather have his cock massaging my lady bits.

He begins washing my body, massaging it as he does. I let out little moans as his fingers work their magic. I’ve had enough of this and want to feel him inside me. I reach down, grab his cock and stroke it, hoping he gets the hint.

He sucks in a sharp breath. “I’ve ached for this moment. I’m addicted to you.” He gives me a chaste kiss. “I was trying to be a gentleman, but you’re pushing me over the edge.” He grabs my legs and picks me up with my back to the wall of the shower. He lowers me onto him but stops to nibble on my neck. “I can’t get enough of you, Jade.”

I press my back against the wall, trying to get any bit of friction I can. I’m on fire, and I swear I’ll explode if I don’t cum soon. “Damn, Bentley.” He rolls his hips slowly and gently. “Bentley, you feel so good.” He begins pumping himself deep inside me, hitting that magic spot. This man makes me feel so good. It doesn’t take long before an orgasm strikes.

“I love the way you squeeze me tight.” Bentley moans following behind me

He leans in, kissing me sweetly. The entire evening was sweet and romantic. I’ve never had a man treat me the way he does. A tear escapes running down my cheek. “What’s wrong, baby?” His voice is panicked.

I smile. “I’m just so happy.” He places me back down and wipes away my tears. “No one has ever cared for me the way you do.”

His hand slips into my hair at the nape of my neck, holding me as he stares into my eyes. “I love you, Jade.” He licks his lips. “I think I always have. I was just waiting for my time to show you.” Tears are now streaming uncontrollably down my face. I know I love him but admitting it makes it real. It makes me realize that Jackson and I weren’t ever really in love. “Don’t cry, baby.”

“I just…” he places his finger over my lips.

  “Shhh…I know, baby.”

  Our eyes connect. “You do?”

He nods. “Come on. The water’s getting cold.” He shuts it off and wraps me in a towel. I thought I was hurting after losing Jackson, but it’s nothing compared to how I will feel if I lost Bentley. He throws on a pair of underwear and gives me one of his t-shirts. “Here, you can sleep in this.”
